At Scott Sails we are committed to be your Capri 14 sailmaker whether you are a cruiser or racer. We are not as big as the others but being small has the advantage of closer attention to detail in the entire sailmaking process. At Scott Sails your sails receive the individual and personal touch that large production lofts cannot provide. Your Capri 14 sails are in effect "custom built" to your individual needs and specifications. No sail is shipped unless it meets the highest standard of quality and construction. Each sail is mast hoisted for a final quality check before shipping. Since the overhead at Scott Sails is very low, we are able to pass the savings on to the customer. This will allow Scott Sails to offer the lowest Capri 14.2 priced sails anywhere. Only the highest No 1 quality materials are used from Dimension Sailcloth, Challenge Sailcloth and Contender Sailcloth. This will assure you of many more seasons of use of your sails.

The Mainsail

The mainsail is cut to an all around specification for all wind range and sea conditions. The sail is powerful in the light airs and heavier winds which generally traverse the race or sailing day. It is a consistent proven winner the last 13 years in all conditions with most regatta victories. The sail shape will hold for many years. The 1999 Nationals was won with a 4 year old heavily used sail.

The Jib

The jib is also cut to an all around shape for all conditions. It is full with a flat entry allowing for the highest pointing sail in the business. This powerful jib is a perfect match for the mainsail and the combination is unbeatable. A large vision window is included for safety .
