deck has partially separated from the hull

Hi All
I bought a very used laser and the deck has partially separated from the hull along the seam creating a way for water to get in. Is there a fix for this? I have no experience in fiberglass repair. Are there book or books I should know about? Thanks for any advice you can give, Timothy
