Compass repair help

I have a Silva laser compass, the floating compass rose has come off the spindle on which it rotates...any way of opening and repairing these things or is it time for a new one?

Try contacting Viking Instruments in Kingston, MA. Once the back cover is removed, the ring that holds the two halves together is exposed and they should be able to disassemble, fix and refill.
