Question comparing bailer spring types

I'm trying to find which bailer spring type is better

I replaced all the club ones with Rooster steel ones. Working fine still.

and they worked just fine.

Mine are now 17 yrs old and still fine. Yes, I've had the boat for 23yrs but I'm now 80 and and still a reasonable club sailor and keep saying 'I'll sail it for another year'
