Colored Sail Legal...Yes.

Hi,

I bought a Laser with a coloured sail, deemed legal by the boatyard that sold it to me, but i noticed browsing pics that no-one has a coloured sail racing [even older boats] and searching here seems to turn up comments that a coloured sail might be a "practice sail" or not legal.

I attached a picture, could anybody comment on its legality? [The sail numbers are all red btw]

My first Laser had a sail number very close to yours and it was maunfactured in the early 80s. It also had a colored sail, they were quite popular for a while back then. Wonder if they'll ever come back?
