Chandler in the Bay Area

I'm from Scotland and I happen to be in the Bay Area on business over this weekend.

Any recommendations on a good chandler to waste some hours wandering about?

Palo Alto is my base but happy to drive for a good place.

svendsons is great.
kind of a haul over the bay bridge, but while you are there, there are some great barbeque places not very far from there.
