Centreboard

Hi

I have a repainted centreboard that is completely class legal but it looks like the sticker has been taken off and stuck on again. Does this render it illegal? I am hoping to do the Radial Nationals next year so don't want to buy new foils.

Shouldn't be a problem; stickers do come off.

Just make sure your board isn't one of those replica ones.

Is there any way of telling that it is? It should be genuine

My board has no stickers on it at all. Then again my boat is pretty ancient so I am not sure if they had them on when my boat was new.

I would not worry about it too much, perhaps just drop an email to the UKLA class and see what their take on it is before you rock up at the nationals.
