What are everyones thoughts on carbon spars? Good? Bad? Pros? Cons? Were do you get them? How do you make them?

Illegal; what's the point?

PS: if you search the Forum, you can find prior threads on the development of an upper carbon mast. I believe this development was ultimately rejected by the builders.
 
I believe this was rejected by the builder because they could not make a reliable spar. They kept breaking at collar level (for the top section).

For the other spars there really is no point. The carbon top section was aimed at the Radial rig in an attempt to try to lower to competitive weight.
