Well, the first thing I can tell you is I am pretty sure that isn't a Laser! Looks more like a Force 5 but I don't think it's a Force 5 either. Even if it is parts will be hard to find, so take the Sunfish! This is what they look like. Laser is what you see is what you get. Sunfish comes with mast and sail.
No it's not. It's a Laser 2. See the thread with the same title in the Laser forum. The yellow one is a Quiet Waters Sailboat - Spera Super.
Quiet Waters Sailboats Spera Super in great conditionNever heard of a Spera Super, but here—offered at $3500
If you zoom in on the yellow sailboat it says laser on it.The yellow one is a Quiet Waters Sailboat - Spera Super.
That Sunfish color scheme was made from early 70s to late 80s so it is not exactly rare.Never heard of a Spera Super, but here—offered at $3500:
More sail area, more room, more weight. If it's only the hull being offered, parts will set you back. (Hope that's not a crack across the deck!)
Parts are seldom a problem with a Sunfish, plus everybody's heard of Sunfish, so selling it (eventually) would not be a problem. Plus, the later models with the rear cubby are more desirable.
Doesn't the paint scheme of the that Sunfish indicate some special Sunfish model year—worth a few bucks more?
It may say Laser, so maybe it's a Laser II. Good luck finding parts for that!If you zoom in on the yellow sailboat it says laser on it.
Rudder blades seem to be hard to get, but everything else is available. Sure it's going to cost: Broken Sunfish or Laser with no mast or sail | SailingForums.comGood luck finding parts for that!
I've zoomed in, and it's a "Laser 8"!If you zoom in on the yellow sailboat it says laser on it.
