Performance is missing from Laser Performance (and has been for a number of years)
Very disappointing
ouch!If it's any consolation, I just broke my leg, so probably no sailing for the rest of the season for me either.
This is true.Dick
A little consolation perhaps:
The Brits are doing quite well in the Olympic sailing competition.
I do hope you will recover without setbacks.
Kiitos!Zbieraj, we will soon have something in common: being a member of a sailing club in Scandinavia with the only known Sunfish in the countryThe one over here is, I believe, from the early 1970s and has a yellow deck with white diagonal stripes. I've never seen it rigged and only once uncovered, and have even no idea who owns it. (It's located at 60°08'37.9"N 24°44'20.8"E in Google maps at this writing; my Laser is at 60°08'37.1N 24°44'19.8E.) I've toyed more than once or twice with the idea of leaving a note on it, asking for the price
And Kaløvig... been there many times, beginning with the1975 Optimist Worlds which was sailed off the beach at Egå. That is some great sailing culture that you're surrounded with.

Some more pix to show how it all comes togetherHi zbieraj, I use two techniques to store items on my Sunfishes:
For my Minifish, which does not have a cubby, I'm thinking of riveting 4 small stainless steel to the outer lip of the deck in between the mast and the splashguard and stretching some bungee cords back and forth between them to hold a paddle and dry box.
- I glued a stainless steel square eye plate to the inside wall of the cubby and then clip a short bungee cord to a waterproof box. I also clip a bungee cord to my emergency collapsable paddle to the same eye plate.
- I have an inspection port in the front wall of the footwell that allows me to stuff a small bag inside the hull of the boat.
Here are some pictures of the items and links on Amazon, if they are available there:
