can some tell me how thick the hull and deck are? thanks

Not very thick at all. The hull on my 1972 Sunfish is probably about an eigth to 3/16", but fiberglass is some strong stuff. Are you planning on doing a restoration or something along those lines?

actually the hull is in pretty good shape. although i have worked with fiberglass some, my questions are more curiosity until i can put it in the water. its kinda of a new toy. i was driving back from the p.o. the other day and saw this beautful hull laying upside down on this guys truck so i stopped. he made me an offer i couldn't refuse.

If you're looking for the rest of the boat (sails, boom, spars, etc.) try Craigslist. The eBay auctions can end up making you pay a ridiculous amount of money, and often, the parts are halfway across the country.
