I'm about to purchase sail numbers for my Laser and can't find an answer to this question: My sail number is only 5 digits long. Do I need to use two colors like I see on 6-digit sails? 123456, so 12345; or just 12345?

I live in Marquette, Michigan on Lake Superior. Where do people who practice "frostbite" sailing reside? Some Winters, as much as 9X% of the surface of Lake Superior freezes. It gets pretty cold here. What are the water and air temps people are thinking of when they say frostbiting?
