I bought it at Tractor Supply Store. $150. Two lights with wire between them Super heavy duty magnetic keeps it on the trailer wheel wells ( or wherever). Sending unit has a magnet to stick to the back of my truck and has a connection to the trucks wiring plug. I would take the lights off...

Next weekend?....finding....buying... registrating one...in 7 days. Perhaps reaching out to this forum about renting/ borrowing a Sunfish for your vacation might be a quicker solution.

I do not. But I recall reading in another thread that there was an issue with the sail clips coming apart in a good breeze.

But if I wanted to replace my sail rings with new ones... what is a good brand that won't pop apart in a good breeze?

I wonder what they are going to do with your " old" boat? Hopefully, not pawn it off on an unsuspecting sailor.

And while I am newer to the forum than most....I would have to say that you do indeed need a new sail.

The owner claimed to know nothing about the boat. I believe the holes were done by one owner back. I did get a good deal. Either as a parts boat or a fixer upper

Most trailers that I call about do not have paperwork. Although the seller quickly adds that I can just register it as home-made. I'll pass on that for now.

How would someone have gotten the foam the whole length? The Sunfish mast is 10' long. So, take off the caps and start at each end. A 5' journey for that spray foam stuff seems like a long trek.
