Thanks,
I've also noticed it falls back down and rests on the axle after I get it on the trailer. And I'm contemplating removing the center roller at the rear of the trailer and putting in two other rollers on either side of where the center roller is. But I'm wondering how that would work...
Has anyone had trouble trailering a 14.2 and launching it, where the keel gets hung up on the trailer. I tried rigging a strap to hold the keel up until it gets in the water... But then the strap gets hung up. I can't back down in the water any further... Till she floats more because it's a...
@woodbark Thanks for the suggestion. I had already tried to look at the diagram. It's probably just me, but I'm more comfortable seeing a photograph than a drawing. So, looking at the drawing, wasn't real helpful to me. The drawing also doesn't mention the wire I see attached to the the loop...
So the saga continues. You may have read my posts about rehabbing a 1990 Capri I bought in July 2015. I've been focusing most of my effort on figuring out how to step the mast single handed. I'm slowly getting her ready to splash. I've found out I was missing a block on the Traveler and Boom...

Thanks but my first attempt to raise it alone didn't go so well. It might have been inexperience or a lack of coordination. Once I walked the mast up and stepped on the deck to attach the forestay I about dropped the mast trying to get the pin in. I was hoping for an easier solution.
I could use some suggestions from Single Handed Mast Raising Professionals.
I bought an older 1990 Capri 14.2.
She is on a Magic Tilt Trailer.
There was no mast stand or crutch for the bow or the stern so the mast lays across the boat from bow to stern... as you know the mast hangs over quite a...
