Ive been trying to replace my hiking strap for a while, and nothing seems to be working... the screw's are completely stripped and it looks like the previous owner of the boat used 5200 (maybe 4200) around the screws any ideas? I don't want to have to get a new hiking strap plate either
Ive been trying to replace my hiking strap for some time now, and when i finally got everything togeether, i found out that the mounting plate had been 5200 in place. I tried using a normal screwdriver and a drill to get the screws out, but all i managed in doing was strip the screw. Is there...
Yea, im from sarasota, you are able to park ur RV directly right outside the entrance, the road makes a loop and many people park on the inside of the loop... make sure u get a good spot though, it gets pretty full
this takes pracitce or you will lose all boat speed, but in light winds with no/little waves heeling the boat to windward just a little bit, acts like the foils on a plane and lifts the boat
One thing i figured out is to make sure you have enough speed to get through the tack and not shove the tiller over hard all the way, push it over half way and then when head to wind push it over the rest of the way and when finished with the tack HIKE HIKE HIKE GET THE BOAT FLAT asap, center...
This should be a fun topic, what do u guys want for ur laser for christmas?
For me, im thinking the intensity sails hiking strap, a new main block, and rudder ( if i can get all those things) :D
do the california roll (i think its called) and ride with the daggerboard under the boat so that u dont have to swim around the boat when it capsizes again
I think handing out the powrbars is a really good idea, i nornally dont want to eat all of the sandwich and cookie/ chips. Itll probably be windy there anyways. For dinner, porbably just suggests the baitshop, or the salty dog; i dont think alot of the visitors know about it. I dont think itll...
The traveller block is never getting close enough to the corner of the boat, as compared to other boats. The traveller is packed on as tight as possible. The tiller is an old rounded one instead of the acme's, is that the problem? or could it be the traveller blocks, thanks.
lol that was a crazy regatta wasnt it too bad they didnt do any races off and the one reaching race was BS
