Hull undercover when trailering

Hi all. Does anyone use a hull undercover and top cover when trailering? I am planning on buying a new combi trailer (dolly + trailer). The position of the Laser will be top-side and NOT up-side down.

I always use an undercover when trailing (any type of dinghy). I use a standard UK Laser (PSC) combi trailer/trolley and find it pretty easy to get the undercover on/off alone.

In fact, when I lived in France, keeping the boat at home and driving to the pond 10 mins away a couple of times a week, I still always used the undercover (and I always took it off after sailing to allow plenty of air around the hull).

(Always use a top cover as well)

I carry my Laser on a Trailex trailer (right side up) and always use an undercover (coliesail). It's easy to put on and take off. Keeps the dirt away and may prevent damage from rocks on poor roads, like those leading to sailing sites.

I use both, yes.

Boats are too expensive to get fucked up by road junk.

It always makes me wonder when I see a boat on a trailer with a deck cover, but no hull cover. Like, seriously?
