Retired, widowed, and have been casually looking into singlehanded sailing for a couple of years now.
So, I'm gonna stop looking and get a used Precision Boat Works 15' daysailer, with trailer. Looks clean in pictures, have talked with broker repeatedly, owner has accepted latest offer. It's a 1993 model, so I'm thinking test pull on a few lines and try to wiggle a few fixtures. Broker has agreed to replace tires and insect/ pack bearings as the first ride is a three hour highway ride home (Charlotte NC area). Should start looking into sailing lessons at a local marina, I suppose.
