A ridge of high pressure was going to pass over us on Friday with warm temperatures. But late Saturday a dry front was going to move through with very cold weather and super strong winds to follow.
So we headed for the Russian River Friday morning, hoping a light sea breeze concentrated by the canyon from the warm day might give us some wind.
It had been a while since we sailed, so Andy and I took advantage of the warm weather and met at Jenner where the river flows into the sea. Winds were light but we had a great time and the day was quite beautiful.
