Does anybody know why the mainsheet/traveller blocks on the traveller sit farther down on one tack then on the other?
I think it's on the starboard tack i notice that the blocks slide a bit to windward. Port tack doesn't do it though, is this a unknown fact?

Might be interesting to solve as well..

The type of rope that you are using is probably the answer. It is stretching from the starboard corner it is better to use 5mm dyneema

but why wont it stretch on the port side?
Probably it has not stretched uniformly, what type of rope do you use?
Do you make a single overhand not over the bowline where you pass the end of the rope in the jam cleat?

Does the traveler rope have the knot in the centre, is the triangle in the rope as small as possiable? if the blocks r just getting stuck when you tack the best option is to wait till the sail is full after the tack then quickly let the main sheet out (1-2 inches) then pull back in.
