I bought this boat for $300 usd. It had been sitting in Lake Washington for 5 years so was The World’s Heaviest Sunfish. I dried it out and she is legit. Not leaking too badly.

I’ve refinished the blades, new sail, new mainsheet 2:1, new mainsheet ratchet block (the $40 Nautos seems great so far), new installed hiking strap, new dolly, new ??? Adjustable outfhaul and Cunningham. Compass.

Looks great. If you want a great improvement switch to a class approved foil board. The barrington board, you have was an improvement over the other wood boards but the foil boards are far better.

So by foil you mean it is airfoil shape? Does it wiggle in the trunk? Does it make the boat more weatherly?

Does not wiggle or hum. Much more lift and when you tack there is no sideslip. If you have a older hull you might need to file a little the bottom front and back on the centerboard trunk. Depends on the hull.
