The Mid-Atlantic Region kicks off its sailing season with SANJL regattas on May 13 and 20. Come join the fun and get a jump on your competition!

May 13 SANJL Day 1 – Hunterdon SC, Spruce Run Reservoir, Clinton, NJ; Susan Mallows, 5 Michael Lane Annandale, NJ 08801, 908-638-5201(H)

May 20 SANJL Day 2 Highland Lakes CC, Highland Lake, NJ; Mark Buruchian, 2212 Lakeside Dr W, Highland Lakes, NJ 07422, 973-764-7420(H)

The Daily Schedule:
8:30-9:45 am Registration
10:00 am Skippers Meeting

These events are part of 4 regatta series. Registration for the entire series is $40 for seniors and $15 for juniors (sailors under age 18 on May 13, 2006). Alternatively, the individual race day entry fees are $15 for seniors and $5 for juniors.

On Saturday, May 13 the SANJL fleet was blessed with a beautiful day of sailing at Spruce Run Reservoir in Clinton, NJ. The shifts and puffs were plentiful which put an emphasis on staying in phase and heading for the new breeze. Steve Manson dominated the regatta by winning three out of the four races.

If you missed SANJL Day 1, you can still qualify for the season series. Come join us this Saturday, May 20, for a fun day of sailing on Highland Lake, NJ.
