I have a deck crack in a 75 Laser that is in fairly good condition. The crack is on the port side behind the cockpit. I do not have any hatches installed so I cannot get under/behind it. Is there a way to fix this without major surgery or should just leave it?
I'm replacing/repairing a few parts and planning to sell it to a friend. He is not going to race it just leave it at the yacht club for when he is sailing solo. If he passes on it, I'll probably list it for about $1,000 with trailer plus parts cost. Is that a reasonable price for an old boat in decent condition (we live in SC)?
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
