I thought I had read a post here within the last couple of months that contained a kind of pre-launch checklist , but I have tried searching the forum with a bunch of relevant keywords and can't seem to find it. Can anyone recall this and point me to it? Thanks,

Make sure battens are in sail
Make sure mast is tied down to deckplate
Make sure drain plug is in
Make sure the tiller is under the traveller line
Make sure clew strap is on
Make sure the bungee keeper is over the vang key
Make sure the stopper knot in the mainsheet is at the right point for the winds
Make sure the rudder is up before moving the dolly to launch
Have a plan for how you are going to get rudder down and tied, and the cunningham & vang tails tied to the centerboard - depending on the winds (when I first started sailing this was not easy to get done!)

I would add the mainsheet is run correctly. I have missed running the mainsheet through the boom faieread and wondered why I have got hooked on the mainsheet on the first tack or jib . Also I have seen sailors forgetting to run the mainsheet through the forward boom block and many variations. So check that you have run you mainsheet correctly.
