Mainsheet Length

Does anyone know the length of a laser mainsheet that when two figure eight knots at the end the boom is at 91 or 92 degrees?

I lost my mainsheet and dont want to buy the recomended 46 feet, which seems like way to much for me.

I've always used 45 feet

14 meters if my memmory serves me right (which it dosn't always do=P).

Also in a laser (and pretty much any boat where you can let the boom out in front of the mast) you have to have a main that allows you to let it out quite far because at times you need to do it (in lasers you need to do it ALOT) =P
