Looking for information on this sunfish

Hi, pulled this out of a barn that has been untouched for 25 years at least. All I know so far is that it's a Alcort sunfish and probably pre 1960.

Looks like someone started sanding it to restore it but that's all I know. I saved it from the barn as I thought it was worth the effort. Is there a market for these? Any value for this one perhaps? Thanks for your time.

You look to have an early (1950s?) wood sunfish with non-standard box trim on the cockpit edges. Or it may be a home built knock-off of same.
Signal Charlie here on this Forum will probably chime in with more expert impressions. Do you also have the mast, booms, sail, rudder and daggerboard or just the hull? Photos?

I think I have the mast but not sure. The barn has crap all over. I didn't see anything resembling a rudder unfortunately. There was also parts laying around for the catalina 22 that's also on thr property and also I must admit I have no clue what most of that is. If the daggerboard is the board that goes in the middle then yes I have it just took out to be able to pull it onto the trailer. I did grab a mast but not sure If it's for it but looks like the right size. There's a mast in thr barn that is absolutely huge and I have no idea what it couldn't have been for but has me curious! I'll try add a photo of the mast.

Looks like a 1953-`957ish Alcort Sunfish. The cockpit is different from others we have seen, the others did not have the raised lip, and the other boats had floorboards. The daggerboard trunk looks long also, it should be around 10 inches. More photos of the bow and stern might help.

The wooden mast should be 10 feet long and just over 2 inches in diameter. It may or may not be tapered.
