I just bought '87 Laser 2, and although it is in great shape, there is one issue that gives me trouble. Getting the Dagger Board all the way down. I practically have to stand on it with my full 170lbs to get it down. Then I am always concerned if I can get it up in a hurry, as the launch where I sail is quite shallow and rocky. My two part question is this:
1. Is it normal for the DB to be this tight?
2. If not, any suggessions on a remedy?
