I just ordered a non-class-legal standard sail from Intensity but I'm still using all aluminum spars.
No, I'm not using this to compete officially, but I like to sail boat for boat with friends in unofficial "races" point to point using whatever fixed buoys can mimic a semi-square course. The $160 price from Intensity was much more stomachable than the $500+ class legal option given my intended use.
Anything I should pay particular attention to while sailing with this setup? I know the carbon upper is supposed to have the same bending characteristics as aluminum but I also understand that the MkII sail was designed to be used in conjunction with the carbon upper.
Also would love to hear opinions on cut of the Intensity sail in general.
