how do you setup the pro cunningham?

i wanted to get the pro cunningham outhaul kit but i saw that the bottom block of the cunningham attaches to the vang is there another way to attach it the old vang
 
Yes, place the shackle on the bottom block of the cunn on the outside of the vang where it attaches to the vang tang - you may need a longer clevis pin.
 
You should be able to make a small loop of spectra or other thin line that loops around the mast tang. The block should have a becket on top. This is where you dead end the primary line that passes thru the sail grommet.
