I can't comment on all of them, but the ones that rely on friction to hold in place, dyneema is usually too slippery. I've had good success with 3/16 pre-stretch like this.. http://www.apsltd.com/c-1499-smalldiameterdoublebraids.aspx (The Marlow Super Prestretch is what I use)
I had some old 6mm mainsheet that I used. It was a pain in the butt to thread through but was definitely worth it as all other ropes I tried slipped, normally at the crucial moment
