I have little to no experience with body work, especially on boats... bought my first Sunfish...1974...near perfect condition...looks new...really nice!
But I have a chip or gouge in the gel coat(the only mark on the boat!), very small, about the size of your little finger's nail...it's down to the fiberglass fibers but they are undisturbed...only gelcoat missing...it's located on the hull at a strong point at a "corner", near where the side of the hull meets the bottom of the hull...
can I fill/seal this with gel coat paste, and it will seal & stay there?
