Custom Sail Graphics

My wife is the marketing director of our local hospital. She is preparing for an upcoming business showcase with a sailing theme! She wants to use my Sunfish in her display and would like to get a white sail with the logo of the hospital on it (nice way to get a new free sail!) My old sail is orange and yellow and she wants a white sail with blue graphics. Does anyone know of a source to get a SF sail with custom graphics?

Other than the white Sunfish Racing Sail, (I know they sometimes come colored) I do not know of any sail makers that include custom graphics. The following links are for some other sail makers, drop them a note and maybe you will be lucky.

Some suggestions for custom graphics to check out are a Sign Maker who could cut a vinyl logo (could be removed afterwards) to apply or make a stencil, an airbrush artist (custom motorcycles/car painters/tatoo place?) or a Custom T-Shirt place. All could copy the hospital logo to apply to your sail. You may also need permission from the hospital to display the logo. If you get a racing sail and plan to race, allow room for your numbers (see the ISCA rules for number placement). Otherwise, you have the whole sail to decorate. Watch out for shadow from the far side showing thru, you may have to stagger the logo in the same manner as the numbers. Good Luck

I just took another look at the Super Sailmakers site. There is a statement at the bottom of the page that says they could make a sail in any color although the sail would not be "class legal" for racing. It may be your best bet if you do not plan on racing.
 
Sign shop i sthe best way to go here in my opinion. The vinyl can be removed easily afterward if you like and the whole project can be done by yourself if you have the time.
