$300 for this http://siouxcity.craigslist.org/boa/3251169868.html I know it's not polite to mock, but seriously ... what is that thing? This has been up there for a few weeks now. Can't imagine why it hasn't sold yet.
Pointing ability is very much affected by the sail cut and the leeboard design. Lbds have to have immersed length about that of the S'fish and they need an efficient profile (not just flat boards) to get good lift. The thwarts are pretty convenient for hiking out, although the gunwale can be uncomfortable without something to widen it. . . and you might have to bail, as the lee board pumps water aboard when you really get moving.
Of course, the S'fish is a better sailboat. No question about that!
