What is a Boom Sling? I saw Lansing Sailing Club has a Boom Sling available for their membership. It seems to be used with Recreational Sailing a 2 man crew on Sunfish. It is said to keep the boom 12 inches off the deck. I can NOT seem to find more detailed information about the length of line and size of loops on either end or anyone who has used it.
