My boat cover (mast up ) which came with the boat when I purchased it is deteriorating and needs to be replaced. Any ideas on where i can get a new one? Are there "off the shelf" options or do I have to go custon made?
Also can I use a mast up cover during boat towing or would it be better to have a dedicated mast down cover? Finally, where can I get mainsail covers and forestay jib bags for he Capri? Thanks - Tom
I recently bought a trailer/mooring cover from http://www.beanbag.com/SAILOR/mainst.htm. They seem to have lots of different styles. It seems to be well made, but is too new to share much personal experience as of yet
Both Catalina Yachts (818-884-7700) and Rooke Sails (Rookesails.com) sell excellent ones. We don't recommend towing with the cover on. There's no need for it and it's very hard on the cover.
The quality is excellent, and I have had it for three years with absolutely no problems. However, I recommend that you ask them to install two vents when you order one.
