So I picked up and old Sailfish boat and it doesn't have a bailer in it.
Should I install one? Is it simple to do? I own tools and have done a variety of projects in the past of different types.
The new plastic bailer is very easy to install. You just need to screw it into place and make sure the opening faces the stern. Plug the opening until you're underway.
Oops the boat I have is a Starfish. Too many clones out there.
I did get a minifish and it has the alcort sticker and the manufacture number on the hull.
Lucky for me we live in a HOA so boats must be stored out of view. They sit in my garage out of the elements.
I will probably install the bailer and strap this winter.
