Zim already had a licence of their own, but apparently decided to import the boats from their Chinese parent company, Zou Inter Marine instead. The picture is a bit fuzzy though; just the other day a sales ad was posted here for a boat which has the Zou HIN code, and an additional Zim code scratched below it, with very different building dates
West Coast Sailing is looking to produce hulls at the ZIM facility in Rhode Island. There were pictures posted of molds arriving at the RI facility on SA in anticipation of a pilot run. They indicated they did not plan to sell China-built and US-built hulls side-by-side in the US.
