Every day, as I walk by an old and faded fuel container, I wondered what to do with it other than tossing it out.
Nowadays, as a Senior citizen, I find my driving seldom exceeds 5-MPH over the speed limit. That means that my small pickup truck's rear bumper becomes a magnet for huge pickup trucks.
Fortunately, my rear bumper has a flat and level area to support a medium-sized fuel container, so I think I'll secure it to the tailgate with bungee cords. To "work" as intended, it doesn't need to have any fuel in it!
Likewise, a trailered Sunfish could also attach one to the rear of the trailer. If the truck tailgating you doesn't get the message pull over safely, and let him by!
