I caught my bailer door and popped it out of the hinge clips inside my bailer. When I unscrewed the bailer from the boat, I think I lost an elastic o-ring [I still have one]. Can I use the bailer with only one elastic closing the bailer? What are my options for replacing the one that I assume...

I have seen a drawing somewhere that shows where lasers have internal blocking at the top deck on each side of the cockpit, close to the front. I believe this is to back up cleats mounted in this area. Can anyone direct me to this information?

I have a 2002 laser which has a rachet block. I am interested in retrofitting a cleat which mounts to this block. Any suggestions as to which cleat will be most effective? The block I have is a Harken with a 2-1/2" diameter.

If the wind is reasonable, sailing is the way to go and that's what I would do. Dometimes the wind is light and on the nose so sailing can mean missing the race. It's a Tuesday nite series so just one race and if the wind dies for the day it is a long paddle. I would have to have the sail on...
