I have an older fish in great condition. I want to make it last. Has anyone installed the metal mast wear plate from intensity? Do you think using 4200 would be enough?

Love my boat. I got a new intensity frp rudder blade this year and what a difference! The boat handles much better. My last rudder had a warp to it, and I guess that had more of an effect than I originally thought. Big difference!
Hi,
Just had a great day on the water. Just had a few questions.
When I tack my mainsheet sometimes gets wrapped
around the stern's lip on the corner. Anyway to avoid this?
Also I seem to be taking too much time at the ramp (I have heard a comment).
What's the quickest way to rig? Raise my mast...
Talked to the shop today, and they confirmed that you can order a Sunfish hull only.
Laser Performance doesn't advertise this option. For about 3,300 you can get a hull.
I was on my local shop's website, and I noticed they are now giving the option of purchasing a Laser - hull only. I wonder if Laser Performance will give the Sunfish - hull only, purchase option soon too. Great idea considering the price of a new boat. Not all people need a new rig...
Yes the splashguard on the deck. Although I am going to avoid
standing in my cockpit. I have packed on the pounds over
the holidays! Don't want to create any stress cracks.
My wife bought me an FRP Rudder for Christmas from Intensity. I enquired if they had any plans to produce a Sunfish coaming in the future. Turns out they are working on a mold as we speak.
My Sunfish is a 72. I noticed at the bottom of the mast tube the center is about 1/2 inch lower than the edges. It is like a circle has been cut out of the bottom. Is this normal? Or should I install a wear plate?
