hi sounds like a blast,my fish is still in the shed being painted ,still it wont be long now.... have you though of fitting a drain plug low down on the transom,makes draining any water out much easier. cheers john
hello, sorry i mean rotate the end cap not the boom,in fact you do not even have to rotate the cap just re drill and replace the screws at 90 degrees from the torn out holes regards john
hello. the same thing happened to my lower boom, I simpley pushed the end cap back on then rotated it 90 degrees ,then re drilled into the fresh metal of the boom.regards john
Hello. Did you build your daggar board to the modern racing daggar board length?
I'm no expert, but I imagine that someone worked out that this was the optimum length of board for this boat. The old style board was 3 or 4 inches shorter. I have also wondered why the sunfish daggar board is not...
Hello all. I ordered a blue and white Sunfish sail with window from APS Sails, and it arrived in the UK 3 days later! Pretty good I thought, mind you, it took another 2 weeks and another £27 ( to UK costoms ) to get it to my house :mad:!!! I havent rigged it yet, but it looks fantastic! I wonder...

hello, yes the rudder was a nice surprise when i went to pick the boat up, it was still in the box! The repair to the deck seems pretty solid although, this winter i do plan to re-coat/paint the bottom of the hull,and a new sail would be nice. :)
