the brand Storm really holds up well and does not mold or anything. a little more money but definatley great quality. especially if you frostbite so you are taking it on and off often in cold temperatures.

make sure you have speed and give your boat almost a little bit of a roll to get it across and keep speed up after the tack

what i do is when i feel the boom is at centerline at that quick instance i tug on the mainsheet to pop in a lot of slack but then as the boom continues to go across it pulls that slack out again so u dont have to worry about it being over trimmed also.

i always am wondering what the most important thing to look for is when i am deciding which side of the leward gate to take? do you guys have any suggestions on what to look for?:confused:

i recomend the gill drysuits. they are a little cheaper and i think better made. the new that i have has neoprene seals and latex booties. i really like it. and everyone i know that has it really likes it.

yea my preference is top middle bottom on tthe inside of the sailing. and most important is feel of the boat. but that comes after experience.

yea i have the zhik hiking strap and that is deffinatly the way to go. just invest in it. i hike with just the very tip of my toe on the strap because the rubber grip on the bottom of it really works well

i have one at my club. really all you need is two beams that are secured well with some padding on the bars so you dont hurt the hull of the laser. but you can attach it to a jet ski trailer. pretty easily. i would just look at the seitech one to get an idea of what to do first though

i am buying a new standard sail but i dont know if i should get North or Hyde. Hyde is more expensive but i dont know what the differences are. anybody have any suggestions or details about either company?

speaking of sails. i am about to buy a new standard sail but cant make up my mind between hyde or north sails. hyde is more expensive. but other than that i dont know which one is better. anyone have any suggestions??
