Well i want to add a harken block....... sailing with a hook is a problem when coming about. thanks

If the hook is screwed into the side of the cockpit, does that mean i could put in a padeye that is slightly larger. ie. drill two new holes. because there must be some wood backing behind it?

I have never seen one like this, it has teak trim. it's an amflite but what year? Also i would like to add a mainsail block but it just has a hook and barely any space for it. any suggestions? thanks R
