We're Chris & Tammy living on the Emerald Coast of Florida and enjoying as much sailing as we can. We joined this forum because our family refurbished a Capri 14.2 for us this summer (2015) that hadn't been sailed since 1991 when I last sailed it on Lake Michigan.
I grew up racing Hobie Cats back when it wasn't unusual to see a dozen or two on a beach. We're blessed to be in the Hampton Roads region now where sailing abounds from dinghies to off shore racers. I race Sunfish in the Chesapeake Bay all year around (5mm wetsuit during the winter) and am the tactician on the Blue Ghost.
Tammy and I are thrilled with the Capri since we can easily beach it for picnics and can trailer it to new adventures all over the place. Looking forward to contributing here.
