Perhaps not legal with regard to sanctioned events, national competitions, etc. I'm just racing in our local lake club and helps to be in touch. I have a large Standard Horizon handheld now that's just too bulky so looking for something useful, reasonable cost and most importantly small.

Can someone recommend a budget-friendly compact VHF handheld for Laser racing? Just looking for something small in order to hear race committee radio traffic. Thanks, Mark
