I knew I'd get the answer here! I had actually emailed Catalina Direct rather than calling without a response. But Sailrite is the answer. I just hope they don't have a minimum order or may have to do a little more shopping.

No, they are blocks and they are up high where the top of the jib attaches to the mast. Since the boat seems to be rigged correctly according to the manual and they are not even shown in the manual it is not a big concern. However it bugs me not knowing why they are there.
I have had my boat for a month or so and I have a question I can't figure out. There are two blocks up on the mast, one on each side at about the same hieght as the jib halyard block. My boat is an 87. What are they for?
