L2 sailing capacity

Is it difficult to maneuver a L2 if I sail with only one sail and if I'm a beginner? Is it possible?
This guy has a great price, thanks in advance, Dan

Always sail with both sails, thats the way the boat is designed and you will get nowhere sailing with just the main. A trick is to run the jib sheet through the clew without a knot, and then cleat both ends. This forms a self tacking jib of sorts.
As for ability, you shouldn't have a problem.. the boat is very easy to singlehand. Although much more fun with a crew, especially in a breeze.

I think the person means you need to be heavy enough to balance the boat adequately in a strong wind.

I've never sailed mine single-handed - simply because it's usually windy and I'm way too light. One day in a light wind I intend to give it a go though.

Someone told me about how they sailed their L2 singlehanded and got out on the wire and put the kite up! lol. I reckon that would be interesting.

yeah, you could modify the tiller a bit to do that

make 2 longer tiller extensions out of cheap pvc pipe (just to get length right)

and put the new tiller joins on either side of the tiller

Or get a telescopic one - that's what I have. When I bought the boat it had a huge long extension but it drove me half insane trying to tack/gybe without hitting the crew.
