so as the bow wind indicators were a tremendous flop and nobody bought one so i bought one slightly cheep from my boss but there's a catch there was no outer packaging and therefore no instructions and now i have no clue as to where to put it the ilca and ulca websites shine no light on the subject either basically it goes on the centreline but where on the centreline is there a set measurement does anyone have one or even access to instructions from one I've put it together just don't know where it goes and they are race legal as they were a genuine part however i think they may have been discontinued.

Do they not just attach to the fairlead at the bow? Al.l the bow mounted ones I have seen are fixed there.

Oh so I assume it just screws into the top of the plastic of the fairlead then. If that's where you've seen them that's what I'll go with it sounds much better than drilling into my foredeck :) thanks :)

That is what I would do with it...a new fairlead is only a few $$ is you get it wrong ;-)

They're about £3.80 I think and I've just drilled the fairlead and screwed it on and it looks right thanks again :)

Hey Jeffers, Lancashire is still using the £, not yet applied to be the fifty-first state. Could be soon though. :)
