Wearing in Laser Mast

Hi guys,
Recently upgraded from second hand laser 4.7 to brand new Radial, just wondering how many hours are needed to go into the mast without vang to wear it in at a minimum.
Thanks

Zero. You must sail with the vang. Their warning sticker is about not sailing in heavy air(15+ knots) the first couple of times with your new mast or using extreme amounts of vang tension in moderate wind(10+knots) just to see how much you can bend your rig. You need some vang pressure during these break in sails.

In reality this whole concept is suspect.

Thanks, thought that might be the case as you see people break masts at regattas and put a new one on and continue sailing straight away.
