Wash boat with high pressure ?

Hi,

Because here we have water restrictions which means home hose washing is forbidden, I was wondering whether it would be safe to clean a laser hull with high pressure at those places where you wash your car ?

What about the sail ? Or is it too fragile ?

The car wash wand's water pressure will not hurt gelcoat (which is tougher then any car paint). It's also safe to use on the sail.

A high pressure washer like the type used to blast paint and grime off a house is another story. Turn the pressure down and use a tip that diffuses the spray.
