US Sunfish blog hacked

so, I was browsing a few of the regional homepages from the main Sunfish Class site, and saw what sure looks like a spam/hacked post on the main page for the US Sunfish Class Association.

I'm just not sure what modular Ford engines have to do with Sunfish!

ouch - it has gotten worse today! there are now multiple blog posts promoting the usual spam (male performance-enhancing drugs). neither of the links I posted above should cause trouble, but I certainly wouldn't click on any of the links on the actual blog.

I didn't see a contact person on the site, so I just sent an email to Gail, who runs the Midwest Region webpage... hopefully she will know who to contact.

Geesh, you guys are debating hacker graffiti..., slow day, eh?

Looks like the site was hijacked for sure. Hope it's not the whole server. My condolences.

As of today (May 18), the site looks OK (again)....

yeah, I email Gail Turluck, and she passed along the info to the webmaster(s). ends up several of the national webpages were hacked, but they are all fixed now.
